Now under construction in Virginia Beach, the Dozoretz Hospice House of Hampton Roads will be a beautiful, home-like 12-bed facility that introduces inpatient hospice care to the seven-city Hampton Roads region. 

Once it opens in 2024, the Hospice House will provide a patient-centered approach to medical care for people at the end of life and compassionate support for their families. 

For patients, the House will be a peaceful environment focused on sustaining their dignity and increasing their quality of life by managing pain and other symptoms of their advanced illnesses. 

For family members, it will offer a release from the strains of active caregiving so they can concentrate on being the spouse, or the child, or the companion. No longer overwhelmed by caregiving stress, they can devote themselves to sharing their loved one’s final moments.
